Apartment Review for Bahaus - Minneapolis, MN

I've regreted renting a unit on 2201 3rd Ave South. There are days when the temperature dips into the 30's and I was left without heat in the Apartment. Called the management .... no action taken. Had a neighbor who smokes in the hallway, destroys property such as Apartment doors, windows - they were never charged or evicted until after more than a Year later. (What quality of living is that?) Constant IN/Out of people and the slamming of the doors between 2- 5 AM. Hmmm, very suspicious looking to me. Rational people are considerate to others as to how they feel. Roaches everywhere!!! From JAS apartment Management, now they've turned in to a CONDO under new property owner that's even worse than JAS Management. They started knocking off walls in some vacant units while tenants were still in bed at 8AM. The constantly do "Inspections" without giving a heads up. Who would buy these units for over One Hundred Ten thousand dollars? The building is made of concrete cement and is always damp all year round (constant mold problems). Not only the management are rude to tenants but theuy also did things that were illegal and against the law. It is illegal for Landlords to operate such premises if they can't even provide the basic: ROOM Temperature, HEATING during winter and SECURITY of the area. I complained for a year about the phone Entry system that has been down and to this day, 2006 - they have not fixed it. SAD. Beware of these managers!
