Apartment Review for Eitel Building - Minneapolis, MN

My initial move in was a disaster. The unit that I chose had not been cleaned or painted. It was filthy. I was so upset and frustrated with the leasing agent who just did not seem to care at all. No one wanted to take responsibility for not doing their job. I had to call her repeatedly to request paper work, etc. She never told me where the garbage shoots were all the things that should have been told to me upon moving in. She did not do the walk through with me. I am having to pay for gas heating when I have not even turned it on. My unit stays warm where I do not have to turn it on but I am having to pay for it anyways which I was told would be seperately billed to how much you use, now I am told that they cannot do that in the building I am in because I am in the historic buidling. For what we are paying for rent they should be paying for the gas. I was told that the unit that I chose would be the quietest but I face the courtyard garden where people bring their dogs to crap and not pick up after, to smoke, talk loudly after hours when normal people are sleeping. I feel I am paying to much for the bs that I have and still putting up with. I am moving when my lease ends. The area is not safe at all.
