Apartment Review for Lake Harriet Commons - Minneapolis, MN

When we looked at this apt. Traci (apt mang.) didn't even let us tour the apt. that we would be renting we toured her apt. because there were people still living in our to be apt. They remodeled our apt and the day we went to sign the lease we asked to walk through before doing so there was paint drips everywhere! On the new carpet the new flring and no ceiling fan in the MB but in the spare. We decided to sign a 6mo. lease THANK GOD. The 1st night there we wanted to move out. It was so noisy. Traci also promised us a storage unit... little did we know it was 1st come 1st serve and you can have as many as you want. We made a complaint about the noise and she called us back saying she was really surprised she had never had a complaint about them before, said we should talk to them ourselves! After talking and talking without resolving anything we slept with earbuds. After they moved out we were told they were going to remodel upstairs but not to worry they would be done by 5pm every-night. They were up there until 12AM painting so we went up there to ask them to stop "the painter" her husband said I'm not making any noise and wouldn't leave. After getting no sleep and being epileptic then having seizures at work the next day I was not happy. The next night he was there again. Once again we went up there asked him to stop working it was 1130pm and he argued with us stepped into my face and looked like he was going to swing at me. He still didn't leave. After contacting corporate the next day they did nothing. This place is a total hell hole there are un-supervised kids running everywhere while the parents get drunk and every person knows your business. Management is a joke and so is the price. Run far far away from this place!!!
