Apartment Review for Lasalle Apartments The - Minneapolis, MN

I lived here for three years. Waste of money. The location is great, the maintenance guy (Pete) was great as was Maria the cleaner. Other than that, the management was HORRIBLE. The AC units do NOT work. You can hear EVERYTHING through the walls. Lastly, management has a way of receiving complaints and treating them as Gospel truth. I had a neighbor complain of noise when I was not even at the apartment. Due to the hypersensitive neighbor (which the idiot management could not realize despite years of no previous complaints) they decided to send rude and threatening letters of eviction. After spending $30,000 at that crap hole you would think they would show more professionalism and loyalty. I cannot tell you how many times the water did not work, fridge stopped working, and the apartment was 78 degrees due to their most excellent AC. When complain about the AC their response is, "move stuff out of the way of the vent" and "close the blinds". When that doesnt work, they say, "sorry". If $400 short rent in July I am sure they would accept a "sorry" as well. FYI: Dont think it will be easy to move in and out. If you cannot make it during their 9-5 loading dock time then you cannot move.
