Apartment Review for Medicine Lake Woods - Minneapolis, MN

First the good.... The management has been very easy to get along with in my opinion. Good people. Very friendly and personable and they do a good job of maintaining the property. The location is great, rent is reasonable. No issues there at all. Now the bad.... I really enjoyed living here until a few months ago and likely would've stayed much longer. Unfortunately, the new neighbors who moved in upstairs are very loud and have kid(s) that run across the hardwood floors upstairs pretty much all day long. They also apparently need to wear their boots and high heels in the house as well as I hear stomping, pounding and furniture moving almost as often as I hear the running back and forth (LITERALLY hours at a time). Add to that the occasional yelling and slamming of things that make my walls and picures shake, and it makes it impossible to rest and relax or even get a good nights sleep for that matter. Due to my job I can't afford to have sleepless nights due to fighting and the yelling I've heard from these new tenants. Sometimes as late as 2:00AM. That's just ridiculous and I can't justify staying under those conditions. This has forced me to start looking elsewhere. I will be giving my moving notice shortly. If you can move in to the opposite side of the building from these people, and hopefully get some more considerate neighbors, you'll probably enjoy your stay here. I did until recently.
