Apartment Review for Steven Scott Apartments - Minneapolis, MN

We love our apartment, but thats about where is stops. The management claims to put up notices about maintenance repairs or snow removal on all entrances including the mail box, but has failed to do so on two occasions. Once I came home and there was a strange man in my apartment vacuuming out my dryer. Good thing I didn't have clothes in it! They claimed they gave us a notice, but neither of us saw it. On another occasion when we were coming back to the apartment building to get another car, we realized it was missing. They had it towed because of maintenance that was never made known to us. They claimed they posted it everywhere, but this was sooooooo NOT true. I don't think anyone in our wing received notices as there were another 20 or more cars towed in addition to ours. Upon arrival to the apartment my husband went to talk the the managers in the office and they were of no help at all. They blamed us for not using the main doors, instead of the door that is right next to our apartment. We're not mind readers! Also they are not good and getting noisy neighbors to stop being loud. We had to call the caretakers four or so times and it still was not taken care of. The people upstairs were so loud that our apartment would shake at times. This went on in to the early morning.
