First let me say that the apartments I am rating are on the east side of the complex which is owned by the UofM. I live in a 4 bed 2 bath apartment. Upon moving in I noticed that the bathroom was so dirty that the tub was covered in black residue, the floor covered with hair strands. Upon moving out the person is supposed to clean it which they obvious didn't but the staff checks it out which they didn't do either. Anyway let's move onto the many problems with the apartment itself. The toilets broke completely at one point and we could not use them for a few days, even when they do work they easily clog. The sink piping broke twice and once it filled the kitchen with water. They don't turn on the AC until a certain time when they see fit despite the fact that rent is 800 for the type of room setup I have. The staff is nice but it seems there is not much they can ever offer in the way of solutions to apartment problems. Oh yeah, fire alarms go off semi weekly. This place was built in 1999 but it could easily be mistaken for a place built in 1969.
