Apartment Review for Upi 900-905 W. Franklin Ave. - Minneapolis, MN

Upi refused to fix anything, including exposed wiring, and the heat went out for days at a time. They refused to fix the furnace, and everytime we needed something fixed, we had to call the Housing Department to get an order for it. It was filthy when we moved in, and despite leaving it spotless, they kept more than half of our security deposit, although it was a hundred times better than when we began renting. They were very hostile after we called the housing department, and when we tried, in writing as per the lease, to request a meeting about the security deposit, they refused to except the letter. It was one of the better apartments in the building however.
