Apartment Review for Upi- Uptown Classic Properties - Minneapolis, MN

I saw this ad in the paper and boy was it misleading.. It is lies from top to bottom. The apartments are a DUMP!!!. Crackheads in the back ally, used and dirty syringes on the grounds, broken glass everywhere. When you walk inside the building, there is the most awful funky smell ever.. Smells like dirty feet and vomit. The whole building is a complete disaster. There's mold all over the wood floors, windows are broken in apartment, the kitchen is the size of a thimble, and there's roaches everywhere. You would be better off living in a motel or a rest stop along the freeway. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They are liars and they will say ANYTHING to get you to rent from them. I had to hire an attorney just to get out of this toxic waste smelling toilet joke that they have the nerve to call an "apartment". I would rather be homeless. The neighborhood is not safe and the owner has had major legal trouble. The manager is a liar and WILL NOT level with you about what kind of place it is. He'll tell you it's a great place and lie right to your face. Don't trust these people. Drugs, gangs, violence, broken everything not to mention the stink... Yuck. These people are slum lords. Aparments are filthy, water doesn't run, floors are scratched and scraped, they smell bad.... It's highway robbery. GO ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE PLANET BUT DON'T RENT HERE... I AM NOT A DISGRUNTLED PERSON JUST TALKING TRASH.. I SAW IT FIRST HAND. YOU WILL BE SORRY. LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS INSTEAD; IT'S LESS PAINFUL. I was lied to about the size of the unit, I was told that it had air conditioning and it does not.... The toilets are molded and they stink, no closet space, no counter space, no bathroom space... nothing. The one bedroom apts are listed as 800 square feet but they are more like 550 square feet. Stay away. It's not worth the trouble.NASTY, NASTY, NASTY....
